What is CMD?

 "Command Prompt is a command-line interpreter which is used to do special tasks with commands." But this is not done here.

There are two types of the operating system, 

• GUI (Graphic User Interface)
• CLI (Command Line Interface)

And command prompt work like CLI, user can do many tasks with lines or command. In CMD, the user can perform one task at a time, and also have to wait for the current task to complete to do the next task.

Basically, the command prompt is a black command screen just like the Dos OS in Windows operating system. In Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, etc. the CMD (Command Prompt) is a .exe (executable) file saved in the Local Disk C directory.  CMD.exe is the main application file Command Prompt.

User can run CMD with two methods:

i. Run command (win+R >> cmd >> ENTER)

ii. Start menu bar >> cmd >> ENTER

User can use many commands for specific tasks which have a long method with graphic, Command can do these tasks in one line.

Digital India

Digital India is an initiative to make India Advanced and grow up. In digital India initiative Government of India launches new facilities with Indian web apps and websites.

Digital India was launched by PM Narendra Modi on 1 July 2015. And also connected rural the area with high speed of internet, digital literacy, and paperless work.

Digital India project is mainly started to connect every govt. department with the internet for citizens. When people connected to the government digitally, they can use many government services at home. Now, people don’t have to wait for service for too much time taken by government employees. Now, every government services are provided on applications and website, no government employee request for money to do work.

Now, a general citizen can get their services to themselves. The reason to development of digital India is that the citizens of India will be educated and motivate.

There are three-component of Digital India:-

• Building digital infrastructure- Develop websites and web-apps for services.
• Provide services to the public electronically
• Digital Literacy.

Some example of apps in Digital India:-

• Voter Helpline App,
•  mPassport Seva App,
•  BHIM UPI,
•  Mygov. App etc.

What is computer?

Some people say, Computer is an electronic device. But the computer is more than an electronic device.

"A computer is an electronic device, that can take input the data, process it, and also store the data, and then provide output."

• The input of the computer system can be done by keyboard, mouse, touchscreen, or any other input device. 

• The processing of the computer is done by the CPU (Central Processing Unit).

• The process of storing the data is completed by primary memory and secondary memory or another storage unit.

• The last one is output, the computer provides output through the Display (LCD Monitor), Printer, or any other output device.
